Tranquil Retreat: Modern Flat in Maidenhead

Well appointed flat, excellent location.

Being able to use the washing machine before heading back to Australia was a big plus. The bed was very comfortable probably the most comfortable bed in our 7 week trip around UK and Europe.

Not sure why it is said to be a tranquil location being right on a major road at an intersection. but in saying that we slept very well.

Easy access to the train station.

Bed is rather small for 2 adults. Kitchen had ants. Hair dryer didn't work (though they did replace it for the second night). Parking is technically "across the street," but you can't just drive across the street--you have to backtrack from the property, on a dead-end, so expect to spend about 15 minutes getting there, and it's a public parking garage, so add another 20 quid or so for a 2-night stay. Wifi password could just be displayed somewhere, but instead you have to go find the router. And there's a small kitchen, but it's under-supplied--no paper towels or serviettes, no knife. This is almost a great place to stay, but instead, just a bit lazy about helpful guidelines/info/practical necessities, so it adds more stress than is necessary. (And ants.)
