My husband and I spend 7 nights at Apartment Obstplatz from 16- 23 June. Laura is an excellent and kind host and provided easy to follow instructions on how to retrieve the keys to the apartment before check-in (she sent us instruction videos on Whattsapp). The apartment is right in the heart of Old Town Bolzano but once you close the entrance door, peaceful and quiet. The apartment is very spacious and modern with elegant furniture and decor. DeSpar is located a few meters away from the apartment and the Eurospar just around the corner in Museumstrasse. The kitchen is very modern and equipped with everything you can think of. The balcony/terrace was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a Charcuterie/Cheese platter with a glass of wine after a long day exploring all the gems Bolzano offers. Lots of tourist information was provided in the living room on a table about Bolzano and surrounds. Our stay at Apartment Obstplatz contributed to a wonderful week in Bolzano.

The entrance to the property is secure, providing a good sense of safety. The location is very convenient—close to numerous restaurants, supermarkets such as Despar, Eurospar, and Coop, as well as the railway station and various shops. The apartment is thoughtfully stocked with basic cooking essentials like oil, sugar, and salt. Both the refrigerator and freezer and the oven, coffee machine, toaster and the kettle are in good working condition, which was much appreciated. The Utensils could have been in better condition.

The property is located in a charming old building with character; however, the sloping roof in the bedroom may pose a challenge for taller guests, who need to take care to avoid bumping their heads when getting out of bed. Additionally, the wooden bed frame extends beyond the mattress, which can be uncomfortable and may cause minor injury to the feet. The absence of air-conditioning made the night somewhat uncomfortable, especially during warmer weather. The light switches were not very intuitive and could benefit from clearer labeling or simpler controls. It would also be helpful to have at least one English-language channel available on the TV for international guests. Lastly, the arrival process could be improved. A personal welcome or a clearer explanation of the key collection and gate access would make arrival smoother, especially since accessing the parking area by car is a bit tricky. Also leaving the gates and walking back to the Apartment to drop the keys is inconvenient.
