I got tricked by the owner of the homestay. I feel that he is deliberately making excuses so that the security deposit is not refunded.

The aircond is so hot and not clean.

The deposit will burn if you stay here. Bad host 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

the staff was very rude, he threatened me by deducting my deposit from rm 88 to rm 128 whe i asked why should i pay rm 88 for hidden fees. very ridiculousz

22 Jan 2024. Terrible. Rude host and scam. No tolerance whatsoever. I made a booking on 20th Jan 2024, at 11.47pm, still before 12am, because urgently needed a place to stay for the night. I had prepared Rm100 for deposit, however instead it was RM150. There was no mention of deposit in the description, policy or FAQ. Host insulted me by implying I don't know how to read. Banks were already closed and it took me nearly 1 hour to find a way to deposit Rm150 cashless to the host. The host did not believe when I said banks were closed and I had only Rm100 in my account, the rest was cash in hand. I had only managed after asking a friend to transfer the remainder to my account. I had only settled this at 1am, then headed to the unit. The unit on the other hand was infested with cockroaches (refer pic). After checkout, when I requested for my deposit back, the host deducted Rm138 for a "late self check-in" at 1.38am, thanks to him. Host was extremely rude through the chat and was insulting too. You can refer the photos. This is my 1st stay with Booking.com and most likely my last.

Whole place smelled like tobacco smoke
