Seaside Heaven - Southerness Caravan Rental

Caravan was beautiful.....fully stocked and very clean. Beautiful view. Facilities on site were very good.

Location was excellent. Communication with owner was great.

Unfortunately plenty of rain the week we went lol. However, we did not let that upset our visit.

Exceptionally clean and well kept. Brilliant location in a quiet area of a very large yet quiet park. Stunning views over the Solway Firth and the north of the Lake District. A good base for exploring Galloway or even better for just chilling.

Oven took a long time to cook pizzas.

The caravan is very comfortable and finished to a very high standard. The host was excellent to deal with and the place was spotlessly clean. The people around the resort are lovely too, very friendly but also leave you to your own thing, perfect balance. The location is excellent, right on the beach. Perfect for us and our dog, long walks in a perfect setting. We had lunch at the John Paul Jones hotel nearby and there are good shops and facilities on site too.

We had a wonderful stay in this caravan for a long weekend. The caravan was spotless, very well equipped and we felt very comfortable. We even got a little basket with small treats on arrival, which was very appreciated. The beach is just a few meters away, which was great for the kids and there is a restaurant and takeaway within the holiday park. We really enjoyed the sea view from the terrace, just relaxing and watching the world go by, and would definitely come again in the future.

Weather and remoteness

We LOVED our stay and can’t recommend it enough. The caravan is beautiful and had everything we needed and more for our stay. We appreciated the box of toys available to take to the beach, blankets on all beds, Netflix on TV and the kitchen equipment available. The hosts left a lovely welcome basket for us and communicated professionally and friendly throughout the process. The caravan is next to beach access and walking distance to all amenities. A very enjoyable stay at the holiday home and wish we could’ve stayed longer. We will definitely be back. 😊 thank you so much
