Brand New Self contained garden guest suite

Sally and Richard are quite possibly the nicest, warmest hosts I've had the pleasure of staying with. From the very first point of contact to check in on arrival times, to providing local tips on where and when to visit places nearby. They even guided us to visit the once-a-month farmers market in Frome on the morning of our departure, and helped secure a super secret local parking spot too. This is a fantastic setting with an easy access driveway (with room to turn around in) and the equally friendly greeting from their cats and dogs made our visit feel even more like home. We were made welcome by everyone. If you're lucky enough to have a magnificent sunset each evening like we were, you'll be gifted with a wonderful view in the front garden on a summers eve sat outside. Always on hand to provide anything that was needed for the room and it must be said that Sally makes a fantastic sourdough, which was delivered each morning with a smile. Lovely bathroom with a substantial bath tub and walk in shower with ample towels and toilet rolls provided. Basic items like water, milk and even a bottle of prosecco were also provided in the fridge for our arrival too, along with plentiful cups, plates, glasses and cutlery to see us through our stay. 10/10 would 100% return and recommend. I have no issues whatsoever to flag, but some may want to consider that it is located in a rural area with a cattle farm not too far away but, it's the countryside! Longleat is a five minute drive, so ideal if visiting. There's a pub 5 minutes walk down the road too. Absolute dream location.

Everything about this stay was perfect. We were staying there to go to Longleat and it was a short easy drive away. The hosts were amazing and made sure we had everything needed. Very happy with the stay.

We absolutely loved this property. Everything we needed for a few nights stay. The bath was FANTASTIC, bed super comfy and had great sleep. Lovely and secure.

It was very handy for visiting Longleat. It was nice to come back to a lovely warm and clean room. Sally made us feel very welcome and even made us fresh sourdough bread and a lovely coffee in the morning.

It’s a shame that I only had one thing that was a problem for me, and that is that the door to the room doesn’t work properly, so I had to put my valuables in the car, whilst we were out to keep them safe.
