Southampton High Street 2 bedroom Apartment

A little upset when arrived that although previously requesting clarification on parking and host confirming on site FREE parking upset to find out I had to pay another £11 to park a distance away from the apartment we had all our luggage then not close to us which meant I was on edge over night worried about the security of our belongings. Also when we booked for 6 we knew we’d have to use the sofa bed not an issue but nothing sorted out so hunted to find duvet and cover. Duvet unfortunately very badly stained (looked like someone had been sick on it) I personally think this should be destroyed and replaced as it’s beyond cleaning I feel. Apart from these 2 things the flat is ideally situated but however would look for something else in Southampton before a cruise for safe parking etc.

Very good value for money, property as described, good location, clean

Not enough towels for 6 people, broken handle on bathtub, damp smell

Property was ideal for its location and price and was clean

Downside was the windows and patio doors were locked and no keys to open

Nice big appartment with all facilities,comfortable bed close to city center,there is a small market just at the entrance of the building and a coffee shop as well,very good communication with the owner

Window's couldn't open scaffolding outside Windows balcony blocked by scaffolding bedroom Windows can't open scaffolding toilet and bathroom window can't lock lock broken so window can't lock anyone can climb up and get into the property made many complaints Via text messages no response its my wedding gift for my wife and myself she wasn't happy neither was I no refunds or compensation or apology from landlord even though I made complaints online

I've mentioned it above imagine being surrounded by scaffolding notning was mentioned about building work when I booked the apartment online

Fabulous location: close to Oxford Street and Ocean Village; 5 minutes' walk to High Street shopping area and on a main bus route. Comfortable accommodation. Plentiful towels and bedding.

The works on the building exterior currently prevent access to the balcony.
