Forest Corner Luxury Apartment with Hot Tub

Property was cosy and clean. The staff were great , smooth and easy check in. Great location with stunning views. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is lovely welcome basket of cookies & crisps. Amazing big double shower.. plenty of wardrobe space if staying for a longer period of time. Staff recommended The Old Inn, I would second that recommendation. Thank you.

Check in/out times are slightly later / earlier than most places I have stayed before.. The property would benefit from a couch instead of two chairs. The hot tub is great however there is nothing covering you from the elements, luckily we had 3 golf umbrellas in the car so we were still able to use the hot tub while it rained. The hot tub does face on to the drive way so anyone arriving/parking will see you in the hot tub. I can understand this may be due to the fact the view is stunning but would have preferred privacy. Decking should have a barrier as it’s raised off of ground. Partner slipped due to rain and fell off side.( roughly 2ft drop ) A light on the side of building would have been good, as it’s winter we arrived in the dark. These are minimal issues and did not take away from enjoyment of our stay.

Check out time a bit early

Location was amazing, remote enough to feel like you are getting away from it all but close enough to lovely little village settings with lots of amenities. A perfect all rounder

Definitely felt like ‘luxury’. High end appliances, spotless. Personal jacuzzi. Helps that it is new built but decor perfect, no marks or wear. Excellent welcome gifts of hot chocolate, crisps, milk, juice and delicious handmade cookies. Even a bottle of smidge for you to use while you stay if you came unprepared!

Wi-Fi extremely poor, kept reverting back to my own hotspot as it was pretty impossible to use consistently. No peeler in the kitchen.

The location was amazing for a nice, relaxing weekend. We were treated very well by the Woodland staff, and everything was perfect for us from start to finish. the lodge and the hottub alongside all of the amenities within the lodge made our weekend so worth while and special!.

The midges unfortunatly were a big issue for us during our stay, One thing that I would like to see implemented is a netting around the hot tub to try and deter away the midges ( I know this is not within your control and isnt really a dislike or bad thing but it made sitting in the hottub challenging at times even with the smidge spray provided.

Location, surroundings and comfort were exceptional for the luxury lodge. Well presented and designed, we will definitely recommend and return.
