Kimberley One - Nelson Waterfront Apartment

Location was good. Beds were comfortable.

Cleaning was poor. Issues with plumbing - toilets & showers blocking. No soundproofing from above flat/accommodation.

Large comfortable apartment with stunning view. Parking available (every amenity (heated bathroom floor anyone? ).

Mmm. Would have to nitpick to find negatives. But too far to walk to town if you are without transportation

The apartment was spacious and very well equipped and had a nice view of the sea. Great to have two bedrooms, each with an ensuite. The ensuites had good hardware - updated, underfloor heating and plenty of hot water. Good storage of clothes and possessions and well equipped spacious kitchen.

The apartment needs a deep clean - stained carpets, dingy looking. Some decor enhancement would make the apartment more welcoming. Access was diabolical - on a sharp corner with zero visibility of any vehicle approaching in either direction - easier in the dark when oncoming lights were a help. The apartment is marketed as waterfront however waterview would be accurate. The biggest problem was that the remote for the heating needed a new battery so we were very cold until we could get new ones. As we were making an emergency visit and not a holiday, this was stressful. Calls to the managers didn't connect although tried by multiple people on different phones. Email went unanswered. Being managed by an agency, the two and a half pages of instructions were off putting. There should be an indication of this type of booking when you view a property for potentially booking.

Great views and close to all amenities. Good value.

fan in bathroom didn't really clear the steam so it gota bit damp overnight as the window didn't open easily
