What a wonderful stay we had, when we arrived the lodge was spotlessly clean, everything was in order and the welcome basket was a nice touch. The bedding was similar to a high end hotel and the mattress topper was so soft. We all said we slept so well each evening. The hot tub was secluded from sight meaning you could enjoy in peace. A huge fridge/freezer with ice machine. The clubhouse had a great choice of food and drinks and all staff were so friendly. Great little arcade downstairs also for kids and adults. Also highly recommending dinner at the Fish Shack in nearby Amble, the food there was exceptional. We will definitely return for a further week later this year.

Not things I did not like as loved everything but things that are good to know before arriving. No BBQs allowed on site, one of the photos of the lodge on booking.com shows a BBQ by the hot tub so we pre bought lots of BBQ food/coal etc on our way which we then could not use. Amazing white fluffy towels are provided but take a second set of your own to use for the hot tub. Some boardgames provided however these have seen better days and most had pieces missing etc so we could not use, maybe time for a refresh. But none of the above would stop me returning.

"Beautiful family getaway"

Everything was perfect! Even the weather. Lovely little welcome hamper on arrival was a nice touch! We are actually thinking of buying a lodge now!
