Nolton Haven Farmhouse Apartment, Sea Views

Location fantastic unfortunately we never used the property as we were misled into sale it clearly states PETS ALLOWED but on arrival we were told only one small dog also narrow steps with one high step into property which should be highlighted in description in bold as if you had poor physical ability you could not climb them

Host could of been more understanding as we had driven four and a half hours to be told we have to pay for each dog but the dogs wouldn’t go up steps and host put the phone down stating good luck getting a refund they take months to pay out

Great apartment by the sea, well equipped and nicely furnished.

The bed was quite creaky and the pillows and duvet not the best quality.

Located beside a nice beach, very quiet area during our winter stay. Adequate heating.

There's a 1 mile very narrow road from the highway to the beach. Arrived in the dark and it was difficult to locate the apartment. Stairs are rusted and tricky. Interior in need of some love and much smaller than wide angle pics portrayed. TV remote not working properly. Closest shops are 7 miles away. Nearby pub looked like it closed several years ago.

Very close to the beach. Plenty of parking. Everything you need in the apartment. Would definitely stay again

All good. Not a problem for me, but just a word of warning, steps into apartment could be difficult for someone with mobility issues.

1) Pet friendly when it seems so few in that area are pet friendly 2) Neat and well thought out use of the space 3) Decor 4) Proximity to the sea…literally metres away

The apartment was clean and tidy, beach was literally 200yds down the road

There was a lingering cooking smell upon arrival, the bed was awfully noisy, the WiFi password provided doesn't work coupled with Sky TV that also doesn't work, I myself am on O2 and it's a complete blackspot for a signal so WiFi is imperative after a long drive I just wanted to be able to sit there send a few emails and watch Jeremy Kyle on itv...unable to do both

It was a lovely space for myself and my 8 year old to use as a base to explore West Wales. Car parking space is right outside, which is always helpful. Kitchen facilities were ample for requirements. The bed was relatively comfortable, and the linen smelled lovely. The bathroom was clean and a nice size. Despite the apartment being next to the road, there is very little traffic, and the area is lovely and peaceful. The beach is a 1 minute walk down the hill, and we caught some beautiful sunsets.

The fridge is quite noisy and as there are only saloon type doors on the bedroom it was loud enough to be heard in the bedroom. Also, the bedroom seems to be above a kitchen or utility room where a washing machine or tumble drier could be heard until quite late one night. When we arrived, there was quite a strong smell of cooking/curry. I opened some windows, and this helped air the room out, but it would have been better if this had been done prior to arrival. I appreciate that this apartment is above a residence, so some air fresheners may help mask cooking smells from other rooms. The mattress is lovely and comfy on the bed, but when you move around on the bed, the wooden frame is quite noisy.
