Family home close to Shrewsbury Town centre

Top bathroom would benefit from a shelf. I have a colostomy and had to bring the dressing table stool onto the bathroom to lay my stuff on which then left no dressing table stool to sit on. Just a shelf, that’s all that was needed. To people without an ostomy it seems no big deal but I say it’s like putting the toilet roll in the bedroom not next to the toilet !

The house itself is ideally placed and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's very clean and the beds are super comfy, however there is green mould in the top shower that can easily be wiped away and the cupboards in the kitchen are warped in places.

The garden and patio really let this property down. The grass was completely over grown and over run with weeds. The patio was filthy with lots of weeds inbetween the flags, the patio furniture was rotting and not usable, there were 2 big planters with dead plants in but most disgusting were the huge amount of discarded cigarette butts all over the patio area. All in all it meant that it was impossible to sit outside and this somewhat spoiled our stay.

Fab value for money! Two bathrooms, spacious comfortable clean bedrooms, quite location with parking. James was very quick to respond to a small issue on arrival.

Needed some TLC, a lick of paint throughout and some comfortable living room furniture, the garden needed a tidy up too! We had to wash some crockery on arrival too.

Location was great - easy walking distance into the heart of the town. It was roomy, quiet and clean. Appreciated the washing machine being available.

But it felt cold most of the time, especially in the top floor bedroom. I never seemed to be able to get hot water out of the tap in the sink or heat from the radiator in the top floor bathroom. Toilet roll spindles in all the bathrooms seemed to be ready to fall off the wall all the time!

Spacious,clean, quiet location, excellent for our needs.

Lovely comfortable house, plenty of room for three of us. Nice and warm all the time, and easy walk to town centre.

The front door lock was a bit difficult to work, the barrel was loose.

We liked the fact that it was a home from home and could cook a family meal together and watch a film in the front room on a large T.V. There were a few signs of wear & tear, only to be expected, but townhouse was very clean and homely. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

It was a little further away from the town than expected, however this wasn't an issue as it was lovely walk in, crossing the 'English Bridge'. Also, the local pub, 'The Crown' (5min walk), was very friendly, and we got there for the end of the month pub quiz. Great fun and family friendly. 1 small bedroom, but others spacious. Needed dressing room chairs in front of mirrors in bedrooms and possibly a sofa bed in the front room because only 1 bedroom had a TV. Apart from those constructive suggestions, our stay was very enjoyable. Thank you guys

Excellent location on the edge of the centre of town. I know Shrewsbury quite well and I know it can be loud on Friday and Saturday, but this location shielded you from all that noise. Superb pub nearby the dun cow, which was more than welcome. Very comfortable beds and generally just a really good place to be in Shrewsbury.

This is being quite petty, but I have a sensitive neck and need a really flat pillow which is very peculiar to me. Sometimes I travel with my own pillow because it's that sensitive, but realistically, that is a minor complaint for just about anyone.
