Piran Holiday Apartments in the city center

The location was great.

I requested a check-in between 2 and 3 PM, which was approved, and I was informed that I could collect the keys after 2 PM. However, I didn’t receive the code on time, nor was I told which lockbox to use. I didn’t ask right away, so I let that go. When I entered the apartment after 2 PM, I was shocked to find it in a very dirty and completely unclean state. Around 2:15 PM, two cleaning ladies entered the apartment unexpectedly, which startled me. They told me they were there to clean and that no one had informed them about my arrival. I was then asked to leave and come back after 3 PM. This completely ruined my plans for the day, as I missed my scheduled bus due to the delay. Additionally, the noise isolation in the apartment was very poor. Every time the neighbors upstairs used the toilet or took a shower, I could hear everything. The bathroom boiler also made loud bubbling noises whenever someone took a bath. Since the neighbors returned home around midnight and took turns bathing, I couldn’t get any restful sleep—it felt like I was sleeping next to a drainpipe. The location was nice, but overall, I’m very disappointed. The experience disrupted my schedule, caused me to miss my bus, and resulted in a sleepless night.

Parking confusing. There are three of them two are only for locals. Take the first one! The name ‘Fornace’ of the shuttle bus (€1) to and from the centre is not written on the parking itself. When going back to it take the last stop, cross the street and take the elevator to the parking lot.

The style and the location of the apartment were good, it seemed clean

The place smelled musty and moldy, the air conditioner was not working, we really did not liked the smell, it was really unpleasant to sleep in a place which smells like this, the place needs better ventillation

The location was perfect as it was basically in the main area. The place was really nice, clean and the kitchen was nicely equipped. Mark the host was really helpful and accommodating, with great communication. The AC was really great for such hot days.

Upon entering the room there’s a spicy/paprika smell but not a huge deal.
