Islander East Studio with East Beach access

Location, location, location...the Islander East Condos is situated on my favorite part of Galveston..the East End. It's very quiet there, but restaurants, downtown, the ferry to Bolivar, etc are only a short drive from there. Again location...situated on 8th floor, the apartment has a fabulous view of the gulf...with sunrises, sunsets, & star studded night skies lovely to take in from the balcony. It's tastefully decorated & clean...stocked well with kitchenware, bath & beach towels & other amenities; there were enough pillows. I greatly appreciated the attentiveness of our hosts'.. Mayvic & Mark for making sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. They responded quickly to any questions & addressed any issues immediately. The Islander East itself possesses a well run, casual, & clean atmosphere...the staff is friendly. Coffee is served in the morning in the attractive lobby. There is someone at the front desk 24/7. The environment feels very safe which added to the comfort of having a relaxing visit.

This place was exceptional. The condo was so nice. I was cozy, the view was spectacular. I will definitely be going back again.

I have no complaints. The facility was nice and the staff were great. I can't wait to stay again.

die Lage ist traumhaft mit schönem Blick auf das Meer, Balkon eher klein mit kleinem Tisch u. 2 Stühlen. Direkter Zugang zum Meer/Strand. Langer Strand zum spazieren. Ausrüstung des Appartments grds. gut, ausser fehlender Esstisch mit dazugehörigen Stühlen. Sehr gute Kommunikation mit Vermieter, hat sich sehr gekümmert. Pool ist gut ausgerüstet mit Liegestühlen und Tischen/Stühlen, aber leider auf der Nordseite mit lange Schatten, erst am Nachmittag ab 15.00h Sonne.

The door code was texted to me as well as a code for the lockbox with the keys in case the code didn't work. Not complicated. Other than the great location with a view mostly liked that it had an adequate refrigerator with freezer, cooktop, microwave for a longer stay. Facilities people are very professional, friendly and helpful. The condition of the unit is very good and clean. Closet has chairs and towels for the beach. The pool facilities are in great shape and it's heated. There's also two propane grills which we always use. There's private access to the beach which has always been clean.

We returned after a visit earlier in the year because it was a lot better than another unit we tried. Nothing we did not like.
