It was a lovely, comfy and warm caravan. Fantastic welcome basket! The owners were very helpful and efficient when responding to messages.

Lovely caravan , clean, and everything you would need , The host Louise answered any questions I had and was lovely. A welcome pack was also left, which I thought was really nice. The caravan is also situated perfectly for dog walks and a cut through to get into the village , where there are a few pubs , takeaway, and co op shop. I would definitely recommend 👌

The lady we dealt with via text was very kind and communication between was always swift which gave us great hopes for the break away.

When you drive into the site and drive to where the caravan is placed you realise it is well out of the way and the caravans around all looked older and not well maintained and the grounds we’re unkept. As we approached the caravan we realised the one we had rented also looked older too. There are no views of the lakes only other caravans and we felt in a part of the site forgotten. The caravan itself needs a good deep clean the windows inside had hand marks on the inside of the glass, the cooker, kettle and toaster are well passed usage and need replacement as old and dirty. The kitchen cupboards and handles need a good clean and the fridge still had bits of food and marks all inside. The caravan as a whole is showing its age with wear sadly, the shower doors at the bottom needs a good clean as all black. The bed was very uncomfortable as the mattress is ready for changing as are the pillows. The owner made effort in having a basket containing biscuits and chocolates and a bottle of wine. We only stayed one night instead of the two planned and came home early as we felt we couldn’t stay another night in the uncomfortable bed and I didn’t feel comfortable using and cooking in the kitchen. I feel sadly that the caravan needs some love and attention and some money spending on it to lift it up again with a change of appliances and a really good deep clean. It saddens me to leave this review as we had high hopes for our visit as the lady seemed lovely and sadly it didn’t work out for us.
