The property had beautiful gardens and pool

We arrived quite late because of plane delays so it was a shame there was no welcome pack of maybe just eggs and bread. There was no folder giving any information on the place, the area, things to see and do or where nearest food shop or restaurant was located. The apartment was advertised as apartment with private pool but the pool was taken over by the family next door who were relatives of the owner so it was quite noisy and a bit disconcerting.

The property was very hard to find. It was not at the address provided, ( 39 Monsindoli) which actually is a deserted looking building. It is off of the second gravel road to the left further down Monsindoli. I asked three separate helpful neighbors before finding it (speaking Italian was a must).

The bedrooms look out to a wall on a lower level. The main highway runs fairly close to the property.

The property is located on a top of a hill with amazing views. It is very close to sienna and you can do a lot of day trips from the location. Apartment was clean and spacious. There is a big garden with pool but as we were not here in the summer we couldnt experience that. It is dog friendly and there is a parking provided.

It was cold. Sadly due to some sort of regulations the heating was off and blankets provided were limited, we had to fully dress our 3y during the night to keep her warm. We asked for them to provide the heating but were rejected even though the apartment has a fireplace... The kitchen facilities are lacking basic things like bottle opener, decent pots, dishwashing supplies etc were all missing. It is quite noisy as the owner is living above you so their morning alarm will wake you up for sure.
