Two-bedroom apartment next to Music Academy

It was very clean, comfortable & warm. We felt right at home. It was a great location - easy to find and handy for restaurants, bars, shops & public transport. We felt safe. The apartment was so nicely decorated and had everything we needed and more. Communications both before and during our stay were great. Very clear and helpful. It was also excellent value for money. We would certainly stay again and would recommend.

Very clean, centrally located and in easy walking distance to all the main attractions in Budapest

Great location, five-minute walk to the Opera and the Operetta Theatres; walking distance to the Chain Bridge. The apartment is clean (looks new with good-quality plumbing etc.) and very well equipped. The bigger bedroom is genuinely nice and comfortable. While Budapest seems like a safe city as is, the four doors that you have to pass through to get to the apartment make you feel even safer.

1) The smaller bedroom is pretty 'non-sleepable': it is not so much that it is small, dark and with no wardrobe, it is rather that its window (always closed) is facing the outside open corridor, where the iron door (used by the neighbours) opens right into the window, usually w/a bang. Not so good at 6am. 2) Something needs done w/the curtains :) - they cannot be either opened or closed. 3) Just to note: the apartment is on a high 2nd floor, the lift does not seem to work (it may be temporarily and did not bother us much) but may be a bit of a hassle if one has heavy suitcases.

Fantastic apartment. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated. Everything provided that you might need down to a travel adapter and a good hairdryer! The location was perfect. 2 minutes walk from a lovely pedestrianised area with bars and restaurants. 5 minutes from a lovely bakery which we had breakfast in. We didn't use public transport we walked everywhere but public transport was widely available if you wanted to use it. It was 15 minutes walk at a stroll in to the centre and all of the sights including the Christmas market and then 5 minutes to the Danube. During the walk you are passing cafes, restaurants and the lovely old buildings of Buda. Our host was excellent. He answered my messages almost immediately. His step by step information on finding and getting into the apartment was flawless and he provided lots of detailed and helpful information on the area, restaurants, things to do etc. I would definitely go back to this apartment and would highly recommend it for a stay in Budapest.
