GBThe location in Bury St Edmunds was ideal - easy walking distance from the town and its main places of interest. The apartment itself was fine for a couple of nights.
The arrival experience was poor. The instructions for getting into the property were inaccurate; it took us a while to work it out and entry was through an alley littered with abandoned furniture and equipment (vacuum cleaner, TV) where the bins were kept, up a fire escape staircase. The bed wasn't very comfortable. There was no welcome pack with info about the property (heating system, etc) and there was no parking pass, as described. There were a few random screws and fixings around the place and the under-sink shelves that had a paint brush and other evidence of maintenance in the bathroom, hadn't been cleaned.

No parking , however advertised with parking permit, had to park 1 mile away in NCP for a weekend. Entrance was littered with dumped TVs, vacuum cleaners . The shower did not have temperature control it was only very hot or scalding hot. Clearly never been cleaned,The mattress on the bed must have been 20 years old and made more noise than a camp bed .
USThe location was convenient to town.
The bed was not a King bed as advertised. It was more like a Full size. And it was very hard and uncomfortable. My husband had to sleep on the twin rollaway bed because that was slightly more comfortable than the bed. The management company did not respond to problems promptly. The owner however did respond in a timely manner and was courteous. However, some advice I would give. Is to do a walkthrough after each rental is complete to find broken items. 1. Shower did not drain well. Glob of hair that we ourselves used a plunger to help it to drain. (Pic attached) which we had to walk to a hardware store to buy. 2. Shower temperature adjustment knob was broken and water turned scorching hot. Had to call management company. They sent someone out but not fix problem but only turned it slightly so we could shower and told us to not touch the knob again. 3. Washer/dryer combo had water left in the bottom. But we had to wash clothes. Washer would not drain. And locked our clothes in. We had to tilt and empty the water out of the machine while emptying it into a saucepan for the door to unlock. Rinsed our clothes out in the shower and then hung to dry in the bathroom. Management company never responded to my request but the owner did end up sending a plumber and fixing the issue.
