Urbanicooh Paracelso - Piazza Maggiore View

Location. Piazza Maggiore, market, restaurants, shopping everything was right there. The apartment was beautiful, very well appointed. We had 2 baths and 2 bedrooms (huge). Living room with a good view of Piazza Maggiore. The host was very responsive and helpful. We could stow our luggage past the checkout time.

There was kitchen, but not very usable. Hard to transport luggage thru a few spiral steps. We had large bags so it was cumbersome. Not suitable for people who cannot go up stairs.

Location and space was amazing

The location was amazing. Restaurants and shops all around. And the trains and buses for tours started right outside so it was so convenient.

Didn’t love having to bring our big suitcases up and over and around and up more stairs to get to the elevator that took us up one floor 🫠 but we did it. 😅 also would have loved more & better pillows and some more blankets. All the bedding was very thin and it was cold while we were there… just some comfy warm bedding would have been nice.

Location is unbelievable. It is at the center of everything that can be seen in Bologna. The view from the apartment is directly in front of the museum with the church to your left. A lot of movement of people really makes you feel you are in Italy.

There was no breakfast. The location was the best thing as far as a great view of the Piazza.

Accessing the apartment was terrible, down, dark hallways, and old staircase, it felt like the ghetto. And, we had no hot water to shower for two of the three days we were there. The host was attentive to this, but unable to correct it. This was very disappointing for the amount of money paid. They offered to refund €150 however would not do so to a credit card, but rather would only do it to my checking account, which I did not feel comfortable with. So this was never resolved, to our satisfaction. In addition, there was a medical emergency in our party, causing us to not be able to get there for our scheduled arrival date. Since we were a couple days past the no refunds date, they made no adjustment for this. This made the stay of three nights instead of five, extremely expensive, creating a hardship for us. It would seem as though a medical emergency would be considered as a gesture of Goodwill. The friends we were traveling with were in the hospital for 10 days in Italy, following major surgery, completely due to an accident. Unfortunately, this was not willing to be considered. Overall, a poor experience.
