Three bedroomed house with a separate studio apartment by Severn Valley railway

Location was ideal. We visited the Severn Valley Railway for the weekend and this house was right next to it!

Just the perfect location! Nothing more to say, just perfect!

The only thing is the main shower. The instant water heater in the shower is in my opinion to small and doesn't give enough water for a decent shower....

Very well equipped with good furnishings and comfy beds. Located wry close to the Severn Valley Railway and the excellent Ship Inn (good value pub food). The kitchen had absolutely everything you could need. It was very clean and very well maintained.

I don’t like instantaneous water heaters, but that’s the only thing.

Clean and spacious property. Great location for the steam train.Tastefully decorated with a nice garden and good parking. All appliances we needed were in good working order.

Unusually steep stairs and extra high shower head.

Lack of privacy - neighbour continually walking through the back garden to get to hers and then leaving gate open. This was not good considering the family bathroom was downstairs and so had to walk past bi-fold doors to bedrooms to get dressed. Children also became scared on the first day to find stranger walking across the garden with no explanation. We also have a toddler and so was not happy at repeatedly finding the garden gate left open. We also had a workman arrive wanting to go upstairs to look at blown windows. We wasnt warned about this and refused entry as we didnt want him in the house with our belongings and our children. Furniture past its best - dining chairs and living room chairs well worn and uncomfortable. The bi-fold doors are broken. These were open on our arrival and we had to ring owner to ask why and how to close. She informed us they are broken and how to do a work around as was waiting for a part. Fridge - not working properly. Note upon arrival informing us that ice and water machine in fridge not working but also we had two lots of milk and soft cheese go off in our 4 day stay. Fridge not cold enough even on lowest temperature. Owner messaged us on day of arrival to ask if the grass could be cut during our stay, we agreed but on our arrival it was clear this was well overdue which was disappointing. This was cut part way through our stay. Owner also messaged on day of arrival to say upstairs was hot and we should bring our own fans. This message was too late as we were already on our way plus we wouldnt have been able to fit fans in the car. The upstairs was ridiculously hot especially the front bedroom. I do think a fan in each bedroom should be provided.
