Cottages and Suites at River Landing

Booking.com confirmed reservation could not be found in the reservation system. staff was very helpful. i will not use booking.com again. only book thru the facility where you stay. in the middle of nowhere, the facility not having your reservation is very inconvenient.

Since I was not located on the property with the main building and restaurant, and traveling with a handicapped family member, breakfast was an impracticality. We did not avail ourselves mainly because of distance (approximately 2 miles) and effort needed (climb and descend 6 steps with a wheeled-walker) to travel to the restaurant.

The facility could not access the reservation on day of arrival, but did honor the confirmation. Booking site information was lacking for description of handicapped amenities, and upon my arrival the desk staff had to inform me that my choice of accomodation was not handicapped-accessible in the standard sense. This was disappointing as I had asked this specific request which was (supposedly) acknowledged from the property via Booking.com. My party chose to keep what arrangement we had for our stay, and we adjusted ourselves to the inconvenience. Also, seating in our double queen-bed room was lacking.

The layout and size of the space was wonderful. The furnishings were lovely. The property itself was gorgeous. The private entrance was also very nice.

The extremely loud music downstairs, supposedly a wedding reception. It would have been nice if breakfast was available in the clubhouse.

The cottages were more than disappointing. The room had a hollow door separating it from a common area with strangers and it was beyond noisy. No one would ever be able to sleep there.
