Imperial House "Serviced Apartments"

Excellent location, could walk to everything. Very helpful host, clear instructions, easy to find and were met with the keys. Lovely touches - fresh flowers in every room and a breakfast tray, milk etc. very appreicated. The living room/kitchen is wonderful, fabulous views.

En suite bathroom could be better! But absolutely fine.

Great location looking out onto the front. Lovely size, warm and very comfortable. Will be back

The place is stunning

The apartment is perfectly situated in Margate. Our personal welcome from Simon was a great touch. The starter food pack was such a nice surprise. Lots of personal touches and care in the apartment

The main shared front door to apartments has a broken security key. Felt a bit odd, but it's probably something to do with the communal ownership and out of Simon control. But we didn't have any issue while there and the apartment door is very secure.

The sitting room with wrap around windows was brilliant, lots of space and light. Simon had added many thoughtful touches throughout the apartment which was really lovely and useful, fresh flowers, croissants and toiletries. Simon was very welcoming

The en-suite was a bit tricky

Simon the host was very generous and helpful and gave us lots of ideas. He responded immediately to any requests The apartment was well equipped , right down to toothbrushes etc. Nothing was forgotten. It had wonderful panoramic windows in a bay shape which looked over the market square and the bay. You could watch the beautiful sunsets from there. The furniture was eclectic, interesting but not always the most comfortable, but it did add character. We liked being right in the centre of the old town and we could watch the world go by. We were so central it was easy to pop everywhere and sample the many restuarants. There was good central heating and it was warm.and cosy.

One of our reasons for choosing the apartment was that it had a lift but it was not working. If you need a lift it is worth checking beforehand that it is in working order. Both showers are in need of updating, particularly the ensuite. Unfortunately the front door and entrance halls and stairs are not well maintained, the fire door had a missing pane of glass! The hall and stairs were dirty.
