I liked everything about the property. Great location. Well equipped. Clean and beautifully appointed. Comfortable beds. Lots of extras (coffee, water both plain and sparkling, etc. etc.). Welcomed by a home baked tart which was absolutely delicious. Charming and helpful hosts. Would recommend this property to anyone!

Soggiornare all’Appartamento Il Pavone di Ortigia è stata un’esperienza semplicemente perfetta. La casa è splendida, pulitissima e curata in ogni minimo dettaglio: si vede che ogni angolo è pensato con amore e attenzione. C’è tutto ciò che serve (e anche di più!): condizionatori in ogni stanza, un bel bagno comodo e moderno, lavatrice, cucina super attrezzata, snack e bevande a volontà e un delizioso dolce fatto in casa . Un gesto davvero raro e graditissimo, che ti fa sentire coccolato dal primo momento. La posizione è in pieno centro, a due passi da bar, ristoranti e locali, ma anche silenziosa. E poi ci sono Mario e Jacopo… due padroni di casa eccezionali, di una gentilezza e disponibilità ormai difficili da trovare. Ti accolgono con un calore autentico, quello che raramente si incontra negli hotel, e ancor meno nelle ormai numerose strutture con check-in automatico. Con loro ti senti subito a casa, come in famiglia, e ogni dettaglio dell’appartamento sembra ricordartelo. Sono stati meravigliosamente accoglienti anche con il nostro cagnolino. In tutti i nostri numerosi viaggi, raramente abbiamo trovato un’ospitalità così sincera e speciale. Consigliamo assolutamente questo appartamento, prenotate senza esitazione.

The hosts were so very nice and attentive, and they have clearly put the same amount of love and care into the furniture and decoration of the apartment as they give to their guests. We absolutely loved staying there. The location was also perfect for us: in a surprisingly quiet little side street on the bustling and beautiful Ortigia island. It's also just around the corner from what might be the only supermarket on Ortigia, which was very handy.

The beds were quite hard, which we had to get used to. But that's really our only criticism.

Really lovely flat in Ortigia. Well placed for exploring the old town. Recently done up, beautiful touches, very well equipped modern kitchen, new bathroom etc. Blown away by the kindness of Jacopo and Mario in going above and beyond with drinks for us, food in the cupboard and a delicious freshly baked cake! Wow!

Excellent location. Lovely apartment. Jackpoo was friendly and very helpful.

Jacapo and Mario were incredible hosts! They were incredibly thoughtful and provided us with everything and more than we needed for our stay! Check in and out was very easy and the food and drinks provided was an absolute luxury. The location was incredible for our stay and there was a nearby car park for parking!

Super comfortable and clean accommodations in the heart of Ortigia. Mario and Jacopo are lovely people who met us warmly, attended to every question we had, and made great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in Siracusa. Just an excellent experience all around.

Key is a little tricky, but we always managed to get in.
