Corvin apartment with Balcony and AC

The locality and the room were fine.

Even though it was not winter yet, the temperature in the rooms was about 22 degrees, and I could not see any AC unit or heating in the room, only a thermostat that didn’t seem to do anything. The cooker and oven were not connected. I thought that since they were in the picture, it was self-explanatory that they would be usable without hassle. There is no glass wall in the bath, so you have to be careful when taking a shower, as there is only one mat that can easily get soaked. The edge of the bathtub next to the wall needs to be cleaned of mold. There was no working floor heating in the bathroom.

Great value for money, centrally located. Proactive hosts ensure smooth on boarding and off boarding process. Rooms are spacious and the apartment has all amenities one needs also for long stays - it was not the case in our case, but we might use those during a potential future longer stay.

Few items, especially in the bathroom might be considered for replacement (e.g., bath tub curtains). Sound proof in the building is not ideal, but not too bad either.

The apartment is near tram station and walking distance from the center and sightseeing activities. There is fridge, toaster and basic kitchen equipment. They also provided a hairdryer, soap and toilet papers, so all basics are covered. Internet was good speed. Overall, it's good for a short city visit.

The shades on the window weren't working, and it was a bit uncomfortable as we felt people can look into the apartment from outside, especially to the living room. In the bedroom, there is an extra curtain, which was slightly better but still not like the outside shades that weren't functioning. Also, in the bathroom, there was some moist that always kept the floor wet.

The apartment was a good size, clean and had everything we needed and very good value.

We were unaware there were shutters on the windows until the last day, and the listing doesn’t say it has a hair dryer or iron so we had brought our own and wasted luggage allowance. Also we didn’t know how to work the AC.

The flat is big and roomy. I appreciated the bath and the balcony and well-equiped kitchen.

I didn’t like the artificial smell that there was (maybe from the perfumed fake flowers), it was really too much. The street and also the house was very noisy during the nights, so we couldnt’ sleep. I was sleeping on the coach, which wasnt’ really comfortable, so I don’t recommend staying there in more than 2 people. Also the table isn’t big enough for 3!

Quiet area with comfortable access to the city center. Clean, cozy and warm apartment. Would book again.
