Beautiful venue - such friendly hosts and great, clean facilities.

Karen & Derek the owners of this beautiful vintage B&B are very accommodating and extremely helpful. They gave us information about the neighbouring villages and gave us recommendations for places to visit and eat. The breakfast was freshly made and had a variety of options to choose from the breakfast menu.

I cannot fault anything, eveything was perfect

We spent two nights at Britannia House Vintage B&B and were thoroughly impressed. The room was spacious, tastefully furnished, exceptionally clean, and the bed remarkably comfortable. The en-suite bathroom was pristine. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and full of flavour – clearly made with care and quality ingredients. The hosts were gracious, attentive, and discreetly accommodating throughout our stay. The property itself exudes charm and tranquillity, with thoughtful vintage details and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Ideally located for exploring the Cornish coast, with convenient parking and excellent access to nearby attractions. A truly delightful experience – we will definitely return soon.

Very comfortable beds, excellent breakfasts and friendly helpful hosts

A warm welcome and very helpful host, who advised us about travelling from there to St Ives using the local railway. We were unaware that the proprietor did not serve meat. Nevertheless, we enjoyed a hearty vegetarian breakfast.

Our room was extremely small. We were aware that we had booked a budget room, but it was so small, there was nowhere to sit other than the bed, which was very low and with a very soft mattress. There was no bedside table on one side of the bed, so essentials like medication had to be put on the floor. There was nowhere to put the bags. The bathroom washbasin was too small to wash in, resulting in water ending up all over the floor. Our sleep was badly disrupted due to a smoke alarm going off in the property. It took some considerable time to sort the problem out. Whilst the proprietor apologised sincerely for this, nothing could be done to remedy our loss of sleep.

Very comfortable and clean room. Lovely hosts - we felt well looked after. Delicious breakfast. Great property overall and a pleasant stay.

Personally, it would have been beneficial to have had a mirror in the bedroom. The smell of damp was quite strong in the bathroom.
