The host has been very supportive when it came to last minute changes: we were two instead of just myself, so we have been given a different room in a nearby, newer flat. We both got sick because of a restaurant dinner gone wrong, so we were able to spend one more day in the same room. Plus: the pharmacy was literally downstairs. Eugenio even went foodshopping for us, as we were confined in bed. Nurse tasks apart, he was very keen on giving us any piece of information we might need.

Prices for rooms Aosta are, overall, higher than in most Italian cities I've been to this year.

Mario and Rita are super friendly hosts (even if they don’t speak english)! The booking and renting procedure is handled by their son. The whole flat was extremely tidy. They offered me use of the garage for bike storage, which was charged additionally.

It was very unfortunate that using the stove was forbidden due to bad experience. That was not clearly described!

The family who housed me was very friendly. They took the time to sit down with me and talk about life with drinking a coffee. They told me how to get around and sent me a pdf through WhatsApp with all the tourist informations I could need. The apartment itself is very close to the center of Aosta, but far enough that you can enjoy some mountain views and peace. It's also 2 minutes away from a supermarket and the Pila mountain gondola. All in all, I would come back there!

I arrived here after a long day of walking on the Via Francigena. I received a room in the apartment of the parents of the owner. Very friendly people, very clean and comfortable room, amazing bathroom. There is a supermarket next door and you can easily walk to the city center.
