NEW Jungleview Villa Canggu 3bedroom

I like how spacious the place is and the design of the villa. The location is also perfect and since it's the last villa on the street, you won't be disturbed by any vehicles or noise.

There was no warm water option to shower. The street to the villa can be too dark at night.

The Villa manager is lovely and did try to make fixes and improvements as quickly as possible and to the best of her ability. She also was very responsive and flexible for our arrival times. We really appreciated her and that. The space was quite big and the arched doors into the bedrooms created such a beautiful setting. Whilst it didn’t exactly look like it did in the pictures, it was still an aesthetically nice outdoor space.

What we didn’t like and why overall we would not recommend this villa: Despite the efforts of the owner, I just don’t think the villa has been well built or thoughtfully built. The bathrooms feel quite dingy, did not have any soaps or anything, the showers were hard to find the right temperature and were scorching for the first few minutes. One of the shower heads completely broken (but appreciative that it was fixed the following day). Very little space for storage and clothes, and the light switches are in such silly places. The room did not get cool enough despite having an aircon if you like to be cool whilst going to sleep - this is not the place for you. One of the bathroom smelt like sewerage - despite the efforts of the villa manager, this smell was consistent and therefore quite unpleasant for the entire stay. Again the price doesn’t reflect this. The concreted pool meant it was like a hot spa. It was so unpleasant and after just having stayed at another villa, it wasn’t because of the weather but more so the materials decided to use and how it was built. We’ll be more careful looking for pools and villas in future because we just kept wanting to find pools elsewhere we could cool off in. We wanted to leave shortly after arriving because it truly does not feel how the images and details described it. Unfortunately when booking we only read the reviews on booking.com and not Airbnb - where there was multiple reviews that backed up the issues we were experiencing. We also found it quite odd that the cleaner came so infrequently. We’ve never experienced that at any other villa. So because of this - the small bin filled up quickly and then the rubbish and empty food containers attracted ants. We’ve stayed in plenty of villas and this was definitely not reflective of the price. PS: If you’re planning on bringing heavy suitcases - this is NOT the place for you.

Beautiful villa, very nicely laid out. Air conditioning worked very well. Very spacious.

Very hard to find with poor instructions. Water fountain didn't work for our entire stay, so no drinking water. One of the tap handles were broken and curtain fell off the rail, although these two items were fixed when we reported them. No shower gel or shampoo. Could use some more furniture as it felt very bare.

Love the look of this villa, I filmed a bit of content here and it was perfect. The beds were very comfortable and big! close to a few great cafes and a massage parlour.

The pool area and concrete flooring gets very slippery when wet, it would be great if the concrete had more grip. We had a bit of an accident around the pool. Also the shower pressure was a bit on and off, possibly when other guests in the villa next door were in the shower it effected our shower. Would be awesome to have a lounge area/couch and tv.

Stunning designs, big rooms, great pool and kitchen area, comfy beds (but firm), scooter rentals in the same alley was super handy, quiet considering it’s quite close to Batu Balong and a hostel

There were security cameras facing inside the villa that we were not told about, so in terms of privacy not great. The showers and hot water did not work. We did ask for the hot water to be fixed and it was, but the water pressure sometimes meant no water came out at all. There was a broken vase when we arrived which the cleaners only reported a day after we checked in, making it look like it was us.
