Modern City Loft - Balcony Scenic Mountain Views

The loft is super modern and amazingly equipped. Absolutely everything you need in the kitchen it has it, even some condiments. The bathroom clean and nice, toilet is japanese style! And of course, 2 terraces with amazing views to table Mountain! What else to ask?! Netfilx included, no dstv, there's a gym (very basic) and it was winter so no swimming pool for us. Instructions for check-in were super clear to me, no hustle and the concierge was also helpful

I understand this thing of self-catering, but offering 1 cleaning would have been nice. A bit facetime with the host is also missed and way warmer. We still give 10*. Note: I understand why some complain about the parking. It's crazy, the parking place is at the 11th floor, it takes 5 minutes in spiral to get there, i had never seen that!

Location

The location, layout and design of the apartment is fantastic. The views from both levels are exceptional looking onto Table Mountain and over parts of the old city around City Hall. The bed was good with good linen.

The decor including paintings on the stairs is not planned or coordinated and detracts from the classy impression of the apartment and it's location. Something more understated and less garish would be good. In some areas the apartment shows signs of wear including the wall behind the headboard and the bedside lamps are damaged and dirty. The bathroom basin had old dirt in the corners.

The aircon upstairs did not work, so it was quite warm. it did not bother us too much, but I reported it to the apartment management for the next guest location is really dodgy in this part of town. We thought it would be alright because it is on the end of Adderley street, but still need to be cautious here
