Location was excellent

There was nothing really to dislike other than bar areas could have been cleaner

Spotlessly clean spacious caravan.Lovely crisp clean comfy bed linen.Great tv.Well equipped kitchen.Beautiful caravan in a relaxing environment.We had the best stay.

good location , lovely and clean, excellent owner lots of space in lounge. Nice and quiet away from main area. good parking space and also space between other caravans

The caravan was lovely, I did feel it needed a lot more general household items . I wanted to brush up the floor but there was no brush. No cleaning goods or clothes and not many kitchen utensils. The sofa could do with more cyshions as it was very hard to sit on

We had an excellent stay at Harris Lodge, I would recommend it. The van is situated with 8 other vans tucked away from what seems a large site, that sits adjacent to the Haven site. The decking area is to the rear, so you are not overlooked - it was very peaceful even in the height of the summer holidays. The van itself is finished to a really high specification, and has a well equipped very clean kitchen, lounge/dining area and roomy bedrooms and bathrooms. The bed linen and towels were lovely quality and smelt amazing. The communication was great with the owner. New Quay is refreshing vibrant compared to my last visit, great beach, dolphin spotting boats and loads of great places to eat.

Just a note about the Haven facilities. It is possible to use the restaurants, arcade and shop (it is a co-op and really well stocked with fresh bread and produce, and everything from t-towels to flip-flops, it is not overprice) without charge. If you would like to book to use the indoor pool, or of any of the bookable Haven activities you will need to purchase a Haven play pass, this was quite pricey for the four of us. That said it wouldn't put us off staying again.

Location, cleanliness

Not as equipped for self catering but was ok just for the weekend

The caravan was clean and tidy, in a great location, 0.8 of a mile from New Quay centre.

Lack of cooking utensils ( serving spoons etc) Single beds were uncomfortable, even though they looked new and thick, just wasn't comfortable, seems like you were rolling to one side and the fear of rolling out. There was one bed frame that wasn't sturdy.

At point of booking was not aware of the need for entertainment / club house tickets Thought these were quite expensive

Milk wood is situated to the right of the main Haven site. It is keycoded access control which made it feel safe and secure. The actual site is well maintained with good spacing between caravan/lodges.
