City Center Stay Fast Wi-Fi, Designer Bathroom

The location, but the building shakes sometimes. The bathroom is of good look with expensive items of Villeroy & Boch.

The building shakes sometimes, maybe there is a railroad underground, I don't know, but it's scary. The room was dirty when we arrived at the check-in time 3:00 PM. When I called the property, my word was not enough: I had to send photos showing how I found the room. Then, they became unresponsive; we did not know whether a cleaner would come or not. Even Booking was unable to contact them. A cleaner arrived one hour later. Inside the room there is a refrigerator that makes a lot of noise for about 30 minutes every two hours. I could not sleep. And there is no way to turn it off because the energy cable is not visible. The building is very old and the door downstairs does not open sometimes. We tried to open it for about 20 minutes when someone pushed it as if he would take it out of a concrete. Then it opened. Given it is self check-in, there is nobody available to help in the building. The company managing this property requested me to pay them outside the Booking platform with a suspicious link. This happened around 11:00 PM the day before my travel, and the message was intimidating like scammers do, saying my booking would be cancelled. I did not pay like that and then they managed to charge me via Booking. Because it is self check-in, they also requested me to enter personal data in an external form without providing a Privacy Policy: upload my document, there were mandatory fields requesting the ID number, postal code, gender and age. Booking should suspend their account while they are not GDPR compliant. I assume people pay outside Booking and give them all their data when requested to rush a night before their travel. Shame of this company doing this to people. All in all, during the two days of my stay I endend up calling the property and Booking several times about the issues. After the fourth issue, when I have not used the room yet, I asked a refund, and I was ready to find another place, but they refused the reimburse.
