AC Hotel by Marriott Seoul Geumjeong

시내 근처라 주변 접근성도 좋았고, 수영장+헬스장등의 시설도 좋았음. 조식신청도 했는데 알차게 구성도 좋았음. 그리고 체크아웃도 12시여서 여유롭게 준비하기 편했음. 가성비로 호캉스 하기 좋음.

성수기여서 수영장 제한이 있음. (그래도 2시간도 물놀이 하기 나쁘지는 않았음) 아쉬운점은 물이 너무 따뜻?미지근해서 물속에 수비드가 된 기분였음. 낮에는 물이 좀 시원하게 얼음이라도 넣어줬으면 좋겠다라는 생각이듬.

What we like… The spacious room, OMG! We had the best view! The infinity pool, love it!

What we dont like? The staff seemed not to know about the “tax free” for foreigners, we were not able to refund the tax because the receipt they gave us have no QR code. The timing of the pool, it should close at a later time specially on summer, it closes at 6pm when the sun is still up and very bright and that time should be the best time to swim.

Facilities and Food

The lobby is at the 22nd floor and we couldn’t go to other floors to visit our family members unless I have the designated key card. But perhaps, it’s for security purposes.

The property is very clean, nice and spacious and worth the money. The metro station Geumjeung line 1 and 4 is located just 10 mins away and connects to all major stations. There are plenty of pubs, food joints, groceries and 7-11’s around here. Hotel rooms has great views of the town.

Just that this hotel is far away from the town and would take easily around an hour by metro to reach any of the site seeing spots and shopping hubs.

스위트룸 묵었습니다. 다좋은데 시끄럽습니다. 민감한 분만 해당되는게 아니라 소리큽니다. 귀마개끼면 조금 낫긴한데. 제일 비싼방이 이정도라니 참.. 소리빼고 다른건 다 좋습니다.

We didn't have breakfast. We were there visiting our son who had an apartment 20 mins walk away so the location was perfect for us. The hotel is approx 5 mins walk from the subway which we used most of the time to see Seoul. There is some noise from the trains as you would expect but it did not impact on our sleep at all or our enjoyment of the rooftop pool.

Nothing really.
