Stylish City Apartment - Very Central by Station

Fantastic location - very conveniently located amidst restaurants, grocery stores, cafes. Easy to get Ubers, close to the station (I wouldn't walk there with luggage though unless you don't value your luggage wheels!). Heating works, rooms are comfortable, adequate linen / towels. Good wifi throughout the apartment. Clean, bright, airy. There's a lot to like about the place.

Nowhere in the description does it state that this apartment is on the first floor up a flight of steep narrow steps. Good luck taking your luggage up, especially if it's heavy. The property owner insists that it's stated - I checked - it's not. This could be a CRUCIAL consideration for a number of people, especially those who're older or have other physical limitations. Also, the shower is anaemic at best, and scalding hot or cold. Yes, there's a coffee machine, but the capsules provided are not compatible (better not to provide any than to tease your guests with this...!)

The location was good and the host's response when I called was very professional.

It was great being close to Mill Road with lots of tasty and affordable dining and shopping options. Straignforward access to the city center and reasonable access to West Cambridge by bus.

It was a bit noisy with the windows open due to the hot weather and no AC. Mostly not a problem, but you'd need to be heavy sleeper to sleep in with early morning trash collection.

Conveniently located for our purposes. Comfortable and clean.

Great location, easy access to train station and central Cambridge. Very comfortable, spacious apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Suitable for long or short stays. Access is by key safe and arrival instructions, with access code, were clear and received well in advance.

Electric shower wasn't working on first day but this was fixed as soon as reasonably practical. Location by Mill Road is not the quietest in Cambridge. Didn't bother me but it might if you are a light sleeper.
