Beware 7am bells for church across the road. Didn't bother me but be aware.

Public transportation in Luxembourg is free, making it easy to reach the location with a convenient 15-20 minute bus ride from the central train station. The room was ideal for a couple, and the host was very accommodating. The beds were comfortable.

There's not much to complain about since Luxembourg is pricey, but we managed to get a great deal. The only negative I can mention is that we visited in June, and the weather was quite hot. The room didn't have air conditioning, only a fan. Although the windows had shutters, I would recommend that the host also add curtains.

Decent rooms for a reasonable price at an excellent location. It's situated next to a bus stop for 3 bus lines, which means getting in and out of the city (for free!) is very easy. The shared facilities allow for 'home' cooking and there are several supermarkets within walking distance to facilitate this.

There are a few problems to note. 1) The house is situated next to a busy street. In order to get some sleep, I had to close both the windows and the roller blinds. At high temperatures, that can get pretty uncomfortable. 2) While parking on the street is allowed, there is a maximum of 3 hours. This is not clearly stated in the listing, nor was it specified when I asked the host. I did manage to find a free public parking space, but that information was pretty difficult to come by. If I had followed the host's instructions, I would've gotten a nice parking ticket. For future guests: head north to the McDonald's, the lot next to it is open to the public, and the bus in front of it leads directly to the bus stop at the house. 3) While the room had obviously been cleaned, it was not very thorough. I had to wipe down a fair few spots myself.

The room was next to a busy road, so very noisy. If you open the window it gets even worser
