Tiny Floating Home with Marina Views

The location. The property. It was all lovely.

Tiny Floating Home was brilliant. A lovely little place with gorgeous views of the marina and free parking nearby for our car. Very well equipped. Kitchen with fridge. Size and power of shower exceeded our expectations (also had shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand wash). Plenty of toilet roll, spare towels, kitchen roll, first aid kit. Furniture for the balcony, comfy sofa. Lovely gesture of gin and tonic cans and biscuits waiting for us. Really easy to find, felt completely safe. Host could not have been more helpful. Great instructions and information prior to arrival. 5 minute walk to the nearest Beryl bikes and a 10 minute (electric assisted) bike ride to the pier.

The steps up and down to the bedroom were a bit tricky when drunk but that's my fault LOL

Location is good, plenty of places to eat in the marina area. We travelled to Brighton by train, there's an excellent frequent bus service from the station to the marina (which also stops in the centre) if you don't fancy the stroll along the prom. The apartment is lovely, quiet and cosy with views over marina. Bed very comfy and I'm told the sofa bed is too, if required. Would recommend 😀

Can't really think of any negatives, perhaps a small microwave in kitchen area, and a mirror for the bedroom?

Nothing… it really is perfect

Lovely views and great location with good restaurants and bars nearby, short bus or taxi trip to the city centre.

The storm meant the floating home moved a lot so you need your sea legs!

What a lovely little place! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it had everything we needed. Great location and lovely views. Host gave all the information required prior to stay to make for a swift and easy arrival. Can't wait to stay again soon!

What a magical little hideaway from the world. Absolutely beautiful throughout. The bed is definitely my favourite thing! Luckily I got to stay in it all afternoon! I’m day dreaming until I can run away back to you again. What a special little place. Cuddling up and watching out of the window. Perfect. Thank you! An adventure to remember.

Having to leave.

Although the rooms are compact they are laid out to an exceptional standard and it is lovely to look out onto the marina. Towels, Coffee, Tea, Posh Biscuits and a couple of cans of gin and tonics were a lovely touch. Although we didn't meet anyone communication was answered very quickly. Netflix, I Player, ITVx and various other channels were all provided for free although we couldn't find any of the Freeview channels.

We were warned about the walk from the carpark so make sure you have bags on wheels but nothing they can do about this.
