Ampik Batur with Private Hot Springs

This hotel was truly exceptional. The highlight of the stay was the private hot spring pool located right in front of the room. As soon as we checked in, they filled the pool with fresh natural hot spring water at around 37°C, which was absolutely perfect. Since the area is in the mountains and the weather can be quite cold, soaking in the warm pool at night was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. Honestly, once you get in, you don’t feel like getting out — it was that good. The only reason to leave the pool was to finally go to sleep. The hotel is also located near the main attraction around Danau Batur, making it a very convenient and strategic place to stay.

Bassin d’eau chaude naturelle au pied de l’etablissement. Superchill avec une petite bière. Ils nous ont organisé avec Rata (‪+62 878‑4812‑7105‬) une sunrise hike du mont batur. Super guide drole et attentionné. Super photographe, vraiment talentueux.

Villa très propre avec un agréable petit jacuzzi . Délicieux petits déjeuners. Emplacement proche du lieu de départ pour l’ascension du mont Batur. Et un personnel d’une extrême gentillesse, on se sent en famille avec Noa.

Le petit bungalow est sympa et le petit jardin devantest tres beau. Les bains chauds individuels sont un vrai plus. Grande gentilesse du personnel.

Il manque un peu de mobilier dans la salle de bains pour poser les affaires. Il y a beaucoup de mouches, c’ét un peu génant.

Los dueños son geniales, estuve tocando la guitarra con ellos alrededor del fuego. Fueron muy simpáticos y la estancia fue toda una experiencia.

I enjoyed my stay at Ampik Batur, it's a nice small guesthouse run by a lovely family. The private hot spring pools were great and were cleaned and refilled twice daily. Everything was spotless clean and the garden was beautiful. I was well looked after and felt like one of the family and the singing and guitar playing in the evening were fantastic . Location is also perfect in the village near shops and restaurants and the hotsprings are a short distance away. Highly recommended.

The property was very clean and well-kept. With only three units, the place is wonderfully quiet and perfect for a short escape from the daily city buzz. This was our second stay here, and the staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We wanted to stay longer, but the rooms were fully booked, so we moved to another place on the hill across the road. The next day, we had a small car issue on the hill and only realized it after we had already gone downhill. The team at Ampik Batur went above and beyond by lending us their motorbike so my husband could go back up the rocky hill, even though we had already checked out. They refused any payment and simply said, “It’s okay, you are our guest.” Would 100/100 return and highly recommend.
