End Cottage, Character Flint Cottage

The garden was good size and downstairs ok and having a dishwasher

Beds very comfortable.

Full of character and a great location.

Everything was good.

Location was perfect. Cottage was lovely. Garden was secure. Village centre was very close.

The stairs are an accident waiting to happen. They are very steep and not (in our opinion) suitable for the elderly, less abled. or children. There is a threshold strip approx 80cm from an old door frame to the top of the stairs that if you tripped over it could result in a fall straight down the stairs and a very nasty accident. The rope "handrail" is only properly secured by 2 out of 4 fixings. (Maybe someone has grabbed it before to cling onto?). The stairs should have been mentioned in the description as we wouldnt have stayed otherwise due to me having a total knee replacement 3 months ago. The extractor doesnt work in the kitchen, the TV took an age before we could get it working even though it was all connected and there was lack of places to hang your clothes in one of the bedrooms. Finally if you want hot water we couldnt get any as the "boost button" to heat the water up didnt work. (Surely the cleaners should have made sure that all of the above things worked before "handing over the keys") The owners have been notified of the above.

Cozy little cottage in a quiet residential area. Great location for touring the area. Well equipped and comfy bed.

Parking round the corner but not a big problem.

Perfect location - very close to everything. Clean well maintained property. Good Wi-fi.
