Clean tidy and had all I needed for three nights. Close enough to the university to walk.

Lack of blinds in the bathroom. While the window had obscured glass, I was not comfortable showering with the lights on.

Very nice could not fault it

Every practical thing needed was to hand - for washing cooking eating and sleeping. Rooms quiet and felt safe. WiFi very good. Everything worked!

False flowers -old and dusty. No scissors TV irritatingly high up the wall. No washing machine tabs ? Clothes line outside or clothes horse to dry clothes No place mats to protect white dining table Hinge on door into garden needs adjusting to lift it up. Round mat in living room needs a wash…

I cannot articulate how much I loved this property. It is ideal for a couple of any age or a solo traveller. The layout is great and everything you need is already there. The price is on the low side for a property of this type. I slept really well with no noise throughout my stay. I stay in lots of hotels and apartments for work but this is by far the best and if it’s available in the future I will go nowhere else.

This property is a lovely modern self contained unit with parking for one car nestled between two houses in a quiet residential area of Coldean in Brighton. There is an excellent shower and usb ports in the sockets and free WiFi. We were there for the marathon and a good job we arrived a day early as the provision for self catering was not great with only one small pan and as the runner needed a large pasta meal there would have been no way to cook it. The mattress on the small double bed was also very uncomfortable and sank badly in the middle. One of us had to sleep on the couch. However, the owner was very quick to respond and very apologetic as no one had complained before. He provided a new extra duvet for the couch sleeper and large pans for cooking. We requested compensation for the inconveniences and after some negotiation received a modest refund, we suggested the equivalent of one nights stay which we didn’t think was unreasonable.
