Newquay Fistral Beach View

Apartment was great and dog friendly. It had everything we needed and a lovely sew view. In a good quiet location 20 minutes walk from Newquay and right next to Fistral beach. There is a swimming pool just for residents and free parking. Lots to do in the surrounding area.

For us the double bed mattress was way too soft.

Excellent location and excellent well equipped apartment with great view from balcony. My wife liked the pool and I liked the view and central location to great beaches, walks and headlands.

Wi fi maybe a worth while improvement and possibly better mattresses for a better sleep.

The property is in a fantastic location, only 5-10 minutes away from Fistral Beach. It's clean and well-equipped with everything you'd need, including a private swimming pool. Gyozo made our stay enjoyable and took really good care of us, checking on us and ensuring that everything was alright during our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

The location is amazing, the pool is heated and has a good wind protection glass wall with a view to Fistral beach. The room is well equipped with everything you would need. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend.

The apartment wasnt clean, dust and dirt everywhere, no cleaning equipment or products so couldnt do it ourselves either. No extra bin bags or tea towels, overall it wasn't well equipped. Multiple air fresheners to mask the musky smell throughout. Mattresses are very thin, uncomfortable with no pillow cases on some of the pillows. Towels desperately need replacing and are worn thin. Rubber matting outside on terrace is scruffy and had sand and dirt all over it. Parking spaces are small, and ours on the end needed the bushes cutting back as it took up most of the actual space preventing you to be able to park also could scratch your car.

In a self contained and quiet development, this ground floor apartment is a 12 minute walk from Fistral Beach on the outskirts of Newquay. It is also close to Crantock beach but you will need to navigate the tidal River Gannel estuary for access (via the low tide bridge or ferry at the Fern Pit Cafe & Ferry). It is well appointed with most of what we needed to enjoy a few days in Cornwall. Given its location expect a fair walk or a short drive to eat out or collect fish and chips from town.

Given that the British weather was not enormously cooperative it would have been nice to have the instructions to turn the heating on, just to take the chill off, particularly when returning from the beach and sea. Also a clothes airer for towels and swim suits would have been useful, as we did not feel the need to use the washer/dryer.

The location of the property is very scenic, access to staff was just a call and the property was very organised and clean. The pool was clean and warm.

The beds were a bit uncomfortable. In future the pool area should be covered especially for the kids because the wind made them shiver quickly although the pool was heated.
