Saint Michel Room by Wonderful Italy

This room is an absolute SCAM!!!!! There was poo on the bathroom floor, no wifi (despite being advertised) and impossible to get any phone signal inside so we had to stand on the street to send and receive messages/ calls. Finally, and the worst thing about it was the overwhelming DAMPNESS WHICH MADE US BOTH PHYSICALLY SICK! After giving the owners 2 days to resolve the issues and getting nothing resolved, we were forced to pay for alternative accommodation. We have raised the issues with booking.com and advised them to remove this property from this platform to avoid anyone else having such a MISERABLE EXPERIENCE as we did.

The location is great – quiet but close to the center, and the building has authentic charm. We also appreciated the man who brought the key after the long wait – thank you for that.

Unfortunately, our experience was mostly negative. When we arrived, the key was missing, and we were left standing outside in 30°C heat for over 2 hours with no clear communication. Inside, the apartment smelled strongly of mold, and while we understand it’s an old stone building, the odor was overwhelming. The floor was extremely dirty – just walking barefoot turned our feet black. Towels and bedsheets smelled unpleasant and not freshly washed. Sadly, our entire first day was ruined waiting for access. Definitely not the start we expected for our holiday.

The location was excellent, very beautiful room. Nothing like I’ve stayed in before

There was no bathroom door. The room is split up with a single wooden divider.

Central location, clean, unique stile

Moldy walls and smell, high humidity, musquitos(bought an antimusquito repelant 4€ and left it there so the next gusts should be set atelast untill it runs out(when i told the ppl at the property they said mybe musquitos got inside becouse of the rain but they can't do anything to help since they came and took a look too see if they saw any, musquitos, kinda dumb but whatever. in the room, no Windows, the toilet is in the same room(no door just a half wall) with no ventilation, TV had no remote, upstairs neighbour has a really heavy walk and probably like to run around the house for hours day and night,

Great location, close to Bari vecchia and Basilica di San Nicola. Charming interior, with historic brick walls and celing.

Huge humidity level due to no windows and basement-like location of the room. It is close to a church so I am guessing it is part of the premises that were not build to live in. Lots of insects and bad canalisation smell, conditions not suitable for living/staying in.
