Lovely stay in Xlendi , the unit was exactly as described, very clean, and in an amazing location by the bay. The owner was lovely, super responsive, and kindly allowed a late check-out. There was some weekend noise from the restaurants below and a few stairs to the unit, but both were expected and absolutely worth it for the views and overall stay.

Amazing views from a very large modern terrace. Great apartment, clean and modern, equipped with all you need. Great cliff trekking nearby. The host was very responsive and offered up spot on suggestions. He also let us check out late since the cleaners were nit coming until the following day. We highly recommend staying here.

Many stairs to reach the penthouse, but worth it!

Fantastic location right on Xlendi beach — you really couldn’t be better placed. The balcony is a real highlight: a total sun trap that stays sheltered from the prevailing Gozo winds, so you can enjoy it even on slightly cooler days. Being on the third floor also gives you great privacy, along with sturdy outdoor furniture for relaxing and people-watching. The apartment itself was very clean, bright throughout the day, and well-equipped for a comfortable stay. The bed is large and comfortable, and there were plenty of clean towels provided. Wi-Fi was excellent, which was a big plus. Check-in was seamless, and communication with the host was excellent — very responsive and helpful with any queries. I felt very safe and secure as a solo female traveller, which is always important. The shower cubicle is quite compact, but the water pressure is excellent, so it’s perfectly functional. As expected with such a central location, there can be some noise from nearby bars at night, but it wasn’t too bothersome — and you can still hear the sound of the sea in the background. Occasionally, you might catch some strong food smells from nearby restaurants, though it’s not constant. A nice bonus is the lively surroundings — from cute cats and friendly dogs to the local ducks (who definitely seem to run the place!). If you’re lucky, you might even spot ducklings depending on the time of year. There’s a bus stop right outside, recycling facilities nearby, and parking was plentiful. Overall, a great spot to relax and soak up Xlendi — would happily stay here again.

One small suggestion: a microwave would be a great addition.
