Proprietor cancelled the day I arrived in town. Basically said too bad for you that I double booked. You are on your own. I booked two months in advance. Not good business practice.

I made the reservation on August 6th for a stay on August 9. I texted the property in the afternoon of August 9 explaining I would be arriving about 1030. I received a message by text to call them. I called them and they said they had no room. I explained that I made the reservation three or four days ago I had paid for it. What was the problem? We have no room he said And told me to call Booking.com. I have now been on the phone waiting for a response from Booking.com but have been on hold during three phone calls totaling four hours.

They don’t know how to manage reservations properly apparently.

I did not stay here as I did not feel safe at this property. Firstly, the address listed for the was not correct. I called the host, who gave me a different address and said he would meet me there. He never showed and I became concerned about some of the people I saw on the street. So, I left and booked another room elsewhere. Booking.com needs to do a better job of evaluating the properties for safety.

communication went smoothly and everyone was so nice. Room, bathroom and common area were super clean.

I didn’t expect to hear train sound so much, although they stop at night -didn’t bother my sleep at all.
