"We didn’t occupy. Owner was unreachable. Later on he said the other guest didn’t check out. Horrible"

I was very frustrated! Owner was unreachable. Finally when I got him on phone he told me the guest who was there didn’t check out. It was tough for me with kids having to look for another accommodation on a Friday. He should have communicated early enough. Why post his Bnb for booking when there is still a guest who wasn’t checking out in the first place?
