Location

The key has to be collected and returned from a shop 9 min walk away ...my elderly father had to wait 20nmin each time I had to pick up and return the keys...8 bulbs were not working...so I walked into the half dark hall...had to buy some bulbs and put them in to make it livable...the door key is a bit fiddly, ..the dishwasher doesn't work.. and the advertised gym access don't allow you access...the manager lives 2 hrs away and though promised complimentary parking and took one of the bulb buying receipts and promised refund ... didn't do it...Booking.com customer service was supportive

"No way to contact host and were unable to get into the property. Had to find alternative accomm."

We were unable to get into the property as the host did not answer calls, voicemails or messages for days. Had to go elsewhere and sort last minute accommodation. Host acknowledged this when they finally replied and has since offered no help in getting refunded.
