Guest House Auasblick by State House

Good location

The room was in a dark alley. No curtains. Lights were on throughout the night. The pool pump was drumming up the noise all night.

Location is good.

Wifi was slow.

Guest house flooring,lightning fixed on the upper level ceiling, and had a swimming pool.Location not far from Windhoek

Felt unsafe even though there was a security gate and electrical fence,not sure if working. Security wood build structure at gate - no security on premises. There is even no buzzer at the gate. The guest house is still undergoing renovations. Ceiling lights are not mounted properly, and one light was hanging from its fitting above bed. There is no door closing of the bathroom/toilet from the closet room.Only brackets on door frame. . Not available on arrival: Free toiletries, Towels; No Hot tub as the Guest house mentioned on Booking com. There are no curtains in the bedroom. The lounge lights the 1st room when entering wasn't easily accessible only to find it is outside the main door. Wifi issues Flat screen television was replaced due to not working. The most bad experience was when I wanted to make coffee that the kettle was heavily soiled and debris inside also contained water I immediately felt nausea as just the thought if me and spouse had drank from that kettle, we would've suffered from water contamination/poison in Nabmibia as South Africans. At that time, I found no receptionist, but none of the staff was on the premises. ONLY Guest, which it appears as they can enjoy their stay without rules, and we could hear them from the balcony on top of the pool at night. Contacted owner and had, which I felt had to plea for other accommodation, and it was already night time.She made the arrangement for another apartment.

Room very clean and spacious. I will dedinitely come back and bring more guests.

Internet connection is weak amd unstable. Please improve on it
