Curlew House, with parking and Abbey views!

The property was beautifully decorated, warm, clean and everything you would expect for a family stay

As always with a tourist resort/historic place to visit the parking was premium and it was difficult for us to find an additional park as there was two cars (2 families) The second dislike or constructive criticism is the bins, it would be advantageous to know which bins are ours to use.

There were alot of steps!

The house was lovely and clean. The beds very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were 4 adults 2 teenagers staying so having a shower room and a second bathrooms was really good. The living room/ dining room is a small.space but this worked for us as it meant we spent evenings together. (Teenagers and adult) The location was good, 5 minutes walk from harbour and 20 minutes from the beach, which meant the teenagers could wander to the shops if they got a bit bored. We parked our car and didn't need to use it again throughout our stay as everything was very close by. We had 2 cars so having a parking space was a bonus for unpacking our belongings. The owner answered any questions and was very helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Location, easy to walk into town Nice house Comfy

Arrived to find bags with dog dirt in the front garden and 5 lots of dog dirt in the rear garden, which we had to clean up before letting the grandchildren out. Grass needed cutting and was full of thistles so not very good for children playing, garden furniture would have been nice, also a rear dog proof fence not just a wire. Grill pan dirty with dirty foil on it . More tumbler glass needed. The ones there was all mismatched. A large pan needed as others not big enough when you are catering for 6 people. A welcome booklet would have been nice with important information it took us 2 days to find refuge bins which was locked in a separate building, parking for 2 cars would be better as this property can hold up to 6 people and not many cars carry 6 people so had to pay for parking elsewhere
