Cosy Country House in Deeside

Erg mooi huis in een mooie omgeving.

Cottage was spotless, wonderful views, nice welcome produce, very helpful owners.

Nothing, absolutely delighted.

The Croft was very clean fresh and exactly what we needed for the weekend when we were attending my Niece's wedding at the beautiful Ballogie Estate a few miles away. The bedrooms were big and was good having two reception rooms one of which was where the sofa bed so had somewhere else to sit as well. Bathrooms were all new as was the kitchen very nicely done. Can't recommend enough for you to stay here if you are in the area with very good communication by the hosts Thanks, Kind regards Susan

Cutest, quaint, some walking and parks around it, nice yard. All around great. And some gifts from the owners too!

Warm on arrival and very thoughtful preparation had been done for guests. Best welcome and provisions for our use at the property. Great location for us to visit family and explore.

Lovely cottage in a lovely rural setting. Scrupulously clean throughout, comfy beds, everything we needed was there. Highly recommended!

Jacqui and Jo could not have been more helpful. Their attention to detail is evident in their great website and the instruction booklet for the cottage. It was very cosy, and the wood-burning stove worked well and added to the cosy feel. The kitchen was well organised and stocked with everything you need , including essentials such as salt, pepper, teabags etc.. and some dishwasher and detergent capsules. It was a luxury to find local produce in the fridge as well as bread and milk! We loved the small bars of artisan soap in every bathroom. We liked the layout with a separate dining and living room, and 2.5 bathrooms. It has been tastefully modernised and is also very functional. There were maps of local walks from the door and leaflets for walks further afield. Banchory is 15 mins drive and has plenty of cafes and restaurants. We loved it that we could walk on tracks almost completely off road to the Finzean Farm Shop for beautiful coffee , scones and local produce. The village has a real community feel with its community woodland, playpark and football club. Great for dogs too!
