B&B Marcantonio Country House

Paola & Gustavo were fabulous hosts and made lots of suggestions for things to do in the local area. It's a beautiful property with a full pool despite the drought and we had some interesting chats about the land and how it is farmed, poor soil and steep inclines make it a challenge. Sitting by the pool after dark with fabulous views over the valleys, beer in hand listening to the cicadas - doesn't get much better.

The property is old which entails some disadvantages. Sound travels very easily, the wifi struggles to penetrate the thick stone walls and there's no air conditioning, but the heat can be handled in the traditional way - open windows closed shutters during the day.

Beautiful and charming property, warm welcome and very nice location! Gustavo is passionate with his region, and his sharing with his guest many recommendations.The restaurant next to the b&b is very good.

Excellent Location, beautifully restored building, fun activities for the family, cordiality of the Host, great breakfast, quietness, and view from the property. Extra bonus a good bottle of homemade spumante for a nice aperitivo al fresco. Plan to go back for a longer stay.
