CORTILIO Luxury Homes on Etna

Prachtig nieuw complex met fijne en ruime appartementen. zeer fraaie buitenruimte met prachtig gelegen zwembad. Mooi uitzicht over Giarre en de zee. Goed gelegen om naa Catania, Taormina en Etna te gaan.

Duurt enige tijd voor je een beetje doorhebt hoe de wegen en plaatsen zich verhouden. Google Maps biedt onmisbare hulp.

L’appartement est situé dans une maison de construction récente. Idéalement situé à Giarre près de l’Etna , de Taormina, de Catane et Syracuse. La communication facile avec la propriétaire . Et surtout, le parking privé, protégé .

Een hele mooie locatie gelegen aan de rand van de Etna. Het appartement was heel ruim, waar alles was inbegrepen wat je nodig had. Daarnaast ligt de accommodatie op een heel ruim terrein, met een heel groot zwembad en super cute onderhouden tuin. We waren steeds als enige bij de accommodatie, dus het voelde steeds alsof we onze eigen villa hadden. Echt heel mooi! Daarnaast was de host super vriendelijk en heel behulpzaam, maar gaf ons ook veel privacy.

The property is clean and well maintained. It has a beautiful ocean view and the pool area is also very nicely done. Melania and the owners did everything to make our stay as comfortable als possible. Which we very much appreciated.

Unfortunately the internet was very poor and some days even totally absent. This made our stay somewhat uncomfortable, as we were travelling with our young daughter and on cloudy/rainy days couldn't go anywhere. Besides that I recommend placing a mosquito screen in front of the bedroom window. This would allow for some ventilation without having all sorts of insects flying around at night.

Everything was excellent. Melania, the host was so helpful and replied to my WhatsApp messages straight away. The pool area is amazing and very clean with beautiful gardens. More lounges and umbrellas than needed. Our little terrace had a good view. Excellent shower and very quiet air conditioning. A good restaurant 10 minutes walk away and many more a short drive away.

Nothing really. We could hear when the people next to us showered but that's just the layout and construction of the premises and wasn't a problem. Otherwise, all was great.

Die Anlage ist ruhig gelegen am Fuße des Ätna. Die Anlage mit Pool inmitten der Natur ist wunderschön, sehr gepflegt und super sauber - so auch die Wohnungen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und auch die gut ausgestattete Küche war für uns ein großes Plus. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und haben unseren Urlaub dort sehr genossen!

Location everything it said on its website.Host was very friendly and helpful we had some car trouble at start of holiday and she sorted everything out for us .She set up a What’s App with me to answer any questions we had.

There was nothing we didn’t like but maybe the pool could have been heated I would pay extra for that.Also a microwave would have been useful and also an information guide for area and places to visit besides obvious ones i.e best beaches and local places of interest.
