MARIANNA'S OLD TOWN RESIDENCE

Everything, it was well above expectations and matched the photos perfectly. A little difficult to locate at first and 2 flights of stairs, no elevator. Only a problem if old. Once you know to look for shop called Safari, it is easy.

This gorgeous apartment absolutely exceeded our expectations! It was spotlessly clean, spacious, beautifully equipped with everything you could possibly want. Perfect location, incredible bathroom….I could go on and on. If it’s available I recommend booking asap. Would love to come back and stay longer in this amazing city. Marianna was also amazing to communicate with and absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone.

This is a recently refurbished apartment, to a very high standard, in the middle of the Old Town,just 1 minutes walk to the river. Everything is immaculate. The fittings are high quality as are the furnishings.The kitchen has everything necessary for self catering, the bedding and bath towels are top quality. Many restaurants are just minutes away. I have seen comments that there is no elevator and parking is 17 minutes away.You need to realise,people,this apartment is in the OLD town.As in most OLD towns the buildings do not have elevators or parking at the front door.I have travelled extensively, and stayed in many apartments, believe me you will not find one as beautiful as this one,in such a great location. If you want a magnificent apartment in a great location in Ljubljana, book this one,you will not be disappointed. If you are ,nothing will please you.

Elegant and well-appointed apartment in the old part of town next to all the best wine bars and restaurants. It’s so clean, you could eat your food off the floors - but the chic, white kitchen and dining area would probably be more suitable. Plus who knew I needed gold cutlery in my life?!! Also appreciated the decent coffee pods and machine. Perfect spot to stay in Ljubljana.

It’s not a fault but do expect to walk to the apartment as it’s car-free from the station - about 17 mins away

The apartment is lovely, just as pictured. It was great to have use of a coffee machine and washing machine during our stay. The apartment is very spacious and lovely design choices. The view from the windows is beautiful.

Sadly our stay was significantly affected by the electric blinds in the room not working. We spent an hour in the evening trying to put them down as the instructions for the complex remote were not clear, but could not make them work as it appeared the remote had a nearly flat battery. There was no other way to close the blinds so we had to message the owner via booking.com. The next morning the sun was streaming in and woke us up super early as we weren’t able to close them. The owners agreed to send someone at 12:30pm the next day to look at the blinds and try to fix the issue. I waited around for the person to arrive and they came 30 minutes late at 1pm. It was the owners husband who I want to point out was really kind, friendly and helpful. He told me they already knew the blinds weren’t working before we arrived which was actually quite frustrating as we’d wasted an hour the night before trying to get the blinds to work and then our sleep was impacted the next morning as well. Why didn’t they come and replace the battery before our arrival if they knew about it? It did turn out to be a flat battery and they replaced the battery and the blinds started working, but our day exploring the old town was significantly impacted due to having to wait around for someone to come and fix the blinds. The owner uses a self check in app called Zymzo which was useful at first. They took a security deposit of one night’s accommodation for damages. We thought this was pretty normal. However on the day of checkout, we checked out slightly late at 10:35 thinking the owner would give us a bit of grace given we had given them grace with the blinds issue. Usual checkout time was 10am. We were informed a week later that the owner was keeping our security deposit because we checked out more than 5 minutes late! This was NEVER communicated to us that there would be a penalty for being more than 5 minutes late, let alone an entire nights accommodation!
