Daniel Russo offers his large but not particularly charming apartment for rent. We appreciated the welcome gesture of a bottle of good Puglian wine. The apartment is located in a small sidestreet (vico) in the old town of Lecce, within a few minutes of the major baroque sights such as the Duomo and the Chiesa Santa Croce. We did not like the fact that the apartment has very little natural light; only the two front doors provide some daylight. In our opinion apartment was not very clean (we cleaned the kitchen sink upon arrival) notwithstanding the 50 Euro cleaning fee. The bath towels require replacement. Suggestion: provide written instructions how machines operate, and to take the keys with you as the automatic entry may not work. As we do not use Whatsapp for privacy reasons it was cumbersome and required some telephone calls in order to receive the arrival details. The garage for a car was close by (approximately five minutes) and quite convenient. The automatic entry to the apartment stopped working during our stay. Daniel told us after our departure that the automatic entry had been replaced.

Großartige Unterkunft, genau wie auf den Fotos! Direkt in der Altstadt, sehr groß und ruhig! Alles hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Höflicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber - jedes Mal gerne wieder in Lecce!!

We liked the location and the decor of the apartment. It was comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed it. The parking was nearby which was convenient. The kitchen was fully equipped for those who want to cook.

UBICAZIONE: strategica, nel centro storico ma vicino al viale per chi deve parcheggiare e non vuole il caos del centro città. Stradina secondaria silenziosa. STRUTTURA: edificio storico ristrutturato e pieno di fascino con volte in pietra leccese di dimensioni notevoli (bagno enorme) dotata di tutti i confort. Letto confortevole così come il divano letto, cucina completamente accessoriata. Attenzione perchè la camera ha gli scalini. Struttura silenziosa (solo nel soggiorno con divano letto essendo gli infissi datati un pò di schiamazzi notturni). GIUDIZIO: 8, ci siamo sentiti a casa, accolti anche da un'ottimo vino, host preciso nelle risposte e informazioni. Un pò scomodo il parcheggio privato facoltativo, perchè occorre prima posteggiare fuori dalla ZTL e recuperare le chiavi in casa e poi accedere al parcheggio. Peccato per due problemi tecnici non risolti che abbiamo segnalato non appena entrati nella struttura, non perchè l'host non abbia risposto (ci ha anche applicato un piccolo sconto) ma perchè ho avuto l'impressione che fossero già noti e secondo me in una struttua del genere andrebbero sistemati preventivamente.

La struttura ampia, funzionale, e ben curata. Il proprietario super disponibile e accogliente. Il parcheggio incluso molto comodo e vicino alla struttura. La posizione, situata tra il centro e la stazione, è perfetta.

Abbiamo avuto dei problemi con la caldaia ma il proprietario è stato efficiente e ha risolto in breve tempo.

Stunning and spacious, location is perfect, communication with Daniel is prompt.
