We used the hotel as a refuge because we arrived by boat with condor and were totally soaked in water . Waiting to change our flight we extended to 2 nights. The room was big and functional , the bathroom was nice but smelly ( urine and sewage ), even if perfectly clean . The staff went out of their mile to please us, even helping with some issues not concerning the hotel ( specially the manager ). The buffet breakfast was great and food really good . The swimming pool was clean ( even if we didn’t use it). Internet was working even in the rooms. Restaurant is very efficient.

We were shocked by the laundry bill: it is true we didn’t check the prices , but in 2 months using the laundry services in different hotels , we never checked them because it was always small money . For 21 items ( 6 were female slips) they charged as €50. We are talking about 1 load , not more then this. Plus on an island which is constantly humid and it s impossible to get clothes dry. Absolutely a shame, a real outragous price which doesn’t match the other services: for example we paid €55 for 2 massages at the spa!! Spa is just a room for massage and nails, massages were super great , but the location doesn’t allow you to relax , because is attached to the main road and you here all the traffic and people passing by. All in all we won’t go back to st Marie , too much rain and humidity for too many months in a year.

the location, location and location. The beach is okey however not really something that you sunbathe on. the local dancing entertaining in one of the night was appreciated.

Food is not great at all. Breakfast is so ordinary and not met our expectations. The wifi is not functioning well & the receptionists are not the best to explain the facilities.
